Questions About Our Services

FAQ Section

We know your time matters Here are answers to common questions about our repair paint and fleet services

Are you open to the public?

No. C&S Commercial Truck Repair is a fleet-only shop. We do not accept walk-in customers or serve the general public. Our bays, technicians, and scheduling are dedicated exclusively to fleet managers and their accounts. This means when your truck arrives, it goes straight to work — not behind a queue of retail customers.

Where are your locations?

We have two locations serving the Dallas–Ft Worth metro: 1420 Prudential Dr, Dallas TX 75235 and 7550 Oak Grove Rd, Ft Worth TX 76140. Pick-up and drop-off is available from both locations for trucks, trailers, hoods, and parts.

Do I need an account to use your shop?

Yes — because we are a fleet-only facility, we work with fleet managers on a partner basis. Contact us by phone at 214-937-5307 or email CandSCommercialTruck@gmail.com to get set up. Once you’re a partner, scheduling repairs and accessing the Online Repair Tracker is straightforward.

How fast do you turn repairs around?

We start the clock immediately. Your estimate is completed and parts are ordered before the end of Day One. We then provide a firm Estimated Completion Date (ECD) that we commit to from the start. Turnaround varies by repair scope, but you’ll always know the exact date upfront.

What is your "Repair First" approach?

Rather than automatically replacing damaged components, our technicians are trained to restore parts to OEM standards whenever possible. This saves you money on parts and avoids long lead times from manufacturer backorders. We only recommend replacement when repair is genuinely not viable.

What types of equipment do you repair?

We repair semi-trucks, trailers (dry van, flatbed, reefer), box trucks, hoods, and commercial heavy equipment. Our three service lines cover Truck Collision Repair, Trailer Restoration, and Mobile On-Site Service. We do not repair passenger vehicles.

Do you handle mechanical repairs, or just collision?

Both. In addition to full-service collision repair for semi-trucks and trailers, our mobile service trucks handle mechanical repairs on-site at your terminal. We cover structural, mechanical, and cosmetic repairs across all three service lines.

How does your pricing work?

We provide clear, upfront pricing before any work begins. The price we quote is the price you pay — no hidden fees, no scope creep. Along with the cost, we give you a firm Estimated Completion Date (ECD) on Day One and we hold to it.

Do you provide written estimates?

Yes. Every repair comes with a written estimate completed before the end of Day One. You’ll have a clear breakdown of labor, parts, and the ECD in writing before we begin any work.

Will the price change after the repair starts?

No. Our pricing is firm from the start. If an unexpected issue arises mid-repair, we communicate it to you immediately — never after the fact. Transparent communication is one of our four core pillars, and that applies to cost just as much as timeline.

Do you offer pick-up and drop-off for trucks?

Yes. We provide pick-up and drop-off for trucks, trailers, box trucks, hoods, and individual parts needing repair or paint. This simplifies your logistics so your team doesn’t need to coordinate transportation to and from our shop.

Do you offer mobile on-site repairs?

Yes. Our Mobile Service line dispatches our service trucks directly to your terminal or job site. On-site repairs eliminate the cost and time of transporting equipment — ideal for breakdowns, urgent repairs, or situations where hauling isn’t practical. Mobile service is dispatched from both our Dallas and Ft Worth locations.

Can I track my repair's progress in real time?

Yes. Every repair at C&S can be followed in real time through our Online Repair Tracker. You’ll know exactly where your truck is in the repair process — 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. No need to call for status updates.

Who gets access to the Online Repair Tracker?

Fleet partners and their designated team members get access for all active repairs. It’s especially useful for operations managers and dispatch coordinators who need visibility into equipment availability without being on-site.

What specific trailer repairs do you handle?

We handle comprehensive trailer restoration including roof panels, floor boards, wall panels, doors, hinges, latches, structural frames, crossmembers, and mechanical systems. Box truck repairs are included. We use a Repair First approach on all trailer work before recommending any replacement.

Do you repair box trucks?

Yes. Box truck repair is included under our Trailer Restoration service line. We handle structural, mechanical, and cosmetic repairs for box trucks in addition to semi-trailers.

Can you match fleet paint colors?

Yes. Our paint and finish work is done to fleet-standard precision. We match existing fleet colors to ensure consistency across your vehicles — whether it’s a single truck or a full repaint after collision damage.
